T-SIM Service Process

T-SIM Service Process

In its most simplistic form, the T-SIM Service process for New Tool Simulation is really straightforward.
  1. You send T-SIM a step file of the die design.
  2. We setup the die design in T-SIM software, optimize the transfer curves, simulate, and send back a Corrective Active Report (CAR) detailing any changes required.
  3. You update the die design and send it back for a verification simulation.
  4. We create a press setup package based on the final die design.
Of course, there are other important details but in reality, this is all that is happening when T-SIM service department is doing simulations on New Tooling.
If we get good die design data for the project, and we have good a T-SIM Press Template already created, the rest is easy.
If you or you suppliers are using T-SIM software in other stages of the lifecycle, this process can be even easier!

Pretty simple right?

To ensure a smooth process for everyone involved, there are a few key elements that ensure complete success.
1- More Information = Better results.
Having a complete customer intake for the production facility and all RFQ information collected for each new project, helps the T-SIM service team to make critical decisions that result in a quality production tool that setups up quickly and runs at full production rate on day 1.
2- Communication is Key!
If you or your supplier cannot make a change as suggested, no problem. Just let us know the reason, and we can help provide a different solution.
If you have questions, reach out. We are here to help any way we can.

Now, getting closer to simple requires a little bit of upfront work, and that is to create the T-SIM press template which a digital twin of your specific equipment.
Depending on the information you currently have available, this might only require 5 minutes of your time. Even with the most extreme cases where no information is available, this process only requires a couple hours if we walk your team through a few simple steps to gather the required information. Otherwise, we can always send someone to your location and gather it onsite ourselves.
