Confirmation of Changes

Confirmation of Changes

What is a "confirmation of changes document"?

A confirmation of changes is just that, a confirmation that each change was in fact completed in the die design.
Before T-SIM service can proceed to the press setup package, we need to be confident that settings we are providing will in fact setup and run without issues. The only way for us to do this is to either simulate the finalized die design one more time or have the die designer provide us a document which shows all of the issues have been corrected in the design.

Some stampers may require a full recheck simulation. If they do allow a confirmation of changes, then we will specify that when we deliver the R2 or recheck report.

What format is required for the "confirmation of changes document"?
T-SIM is flexible regarding the specific format (Word, PDF, Powerpoint, etc.)

We only expect the following 3 things in the document (for EACH ISSUE)
1- The Specific Issue # from the T-SIM CAR (What issue is being addressed)
      - An image of the CAR page is also acceptable
2- The Specific dimensions or distance that was changed
      - An image showing the change with measurements is also acceptable
3- A brief explanation of how the change was completed (when applicable)
      - If you provided #1 and #2 and it is still unclear on what was done, include a simple explanation or additional visuals to help clarify.

PLEASE NOTE: IF ANY DESIGN CHANGES ARE MADE OUTSIDE OF THE CAR ISSUES REPORTED, T-SIM CANNOT GUARANTEE THE RESULTS AND A VISUAL CHECK/CONFIRMATION WILL NOT BE SUFFICIENT.
